CMSPC Monthly Meeting w/ Guest Speaker Karina Kelley

This is a reminder for the January meeting happening this week, January 17th @ 11:30am ET.

We will be joined by speaker Karina KelleyKarina Kelley-Jiménez is a wife, mother and a passionate advocate for human rights and the medically vulnerable in ICE custody. Inspired by the beautiful life and tragic death of her brother, Jeancarlo, she works tirelessly to transform personal loss into purpose, serving as a voice for change, and bridging communities with compassion and hope for a brighter future.

Her work is directly connected to suicide awareness and the impact that ICE custody has on detainees.

We ask you to join and learn more about what our Central Massachusetts Coalition can do to support those who have been impacted by the immigration process. The relationship between immigration and suicide risk is one that we have yet to bring up in our meetings, and we are thankful for this opportunity to have the open forum to learn from Karina Kelly.
